15 day tour begins and ends in Istanbul

Itinerary

DAY 1 : Istanbul  Arrival at Istanbul airport. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 2 : Istanbul  Full day city tour of Istanbul. There are visits to ancient Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, The Underground Cistern, St. Sophia Church, Topkapi Palace. Then visit to world famous Grand Bazaar covers more than 4000 shops. Overnight in Istanbul. 

DAY 3 : Istanbul - Canakkale  After breakfast visit to Spice Market and then Bosphorus Cruise. Then depart from Istanbul for Canakkale. Visit to Gallipoli Battlefields of the World War I. Overnight in Canakkale. 

DAY 4 : Canakkale – Izmir In the morning depart for the legendery town of Troy. Then drive to Bergama for visiting the Acropolis and Acslepion of ancient Pergamum was one of principal cities of Asia Minor. In the evening arrive in Izmir and overnight. 

DAY 5 : Izmir – Ephesus – Kusadasi After breakfast drive to famous city of Ephesus; in its time was a flourishing port, capital to the Roman province of Asia Minor. Today we visit the ancient city of Ephesus, Archaeolgy Museum, and the House of Mother Mary. Then to Kusadasi , a well known holiday center of Turkey. Overnight in Kusadasi. 

DAY 6 : Kusadasi - Pamukkale Depart for Aphrodisias, the city of the Goddess of Love and Beauty. The recently uncovered city of Aphrodisias is becoming one of the highlights of Turkey with its well preserved Stadium, and the great statues of Aphrodisian Sculpture School. In the afternoon drive to Pamukkale, visit the ruins of Hierapolis and spectacular thermal pools. Overnight in Pamukkale. 

DAY 7 : Pamukkale - Fethiye After breakfast depart from Pamukkale for Fethiye with one of the most picturesque journeys of the tour. Visit the old quarter of the town and hike to the monumental tomb of King Amintas in Fethiye and overnight. 

DAY 8: Fethiye – Antalya Start the day for a panoramic journey along coasts of Mediterranean. A boat trip to Sunken City Kekova. Visit to Myra, is the hometown of St. Nicholas (Father Christmas). Then arrive in Antalya and overnight. 

DAY 9: Antalya After breakfast depart for a full day tour of Antalya including visits to ancient city of Perge, Aspendos Theatre and Antalya Archaelogy Museum. In the afternoon free time for the charming old harbor district of Antalya. Overnight in Antalya.

DAY 10: Antalya – Konya An early departure for Konya. Visit to Turkish villages, meet and have picnic with locals and discover the Nomadic Life of countryside people. Then drive to Konya which is the home of Whirling Dervishes. Visit to Mevlana Museum with its beautiful fluted turquoise dome and overnight in Konya.

DAY 11: Konya – Cappadocia After breakfast drive to Cappadocia. En route visit Sultanhani Caravanserai then proceed to Ihlara Valley and the Underground City of Kaymakli. Overnight in Cappadocia. 

DAY 12: Cappadocia Start the day for a full day tour of fantastic Cappadocia. There are visits to Göreme Open Air Museum, Uchisar, Zelve and Avonos. Overnight in Cappadocia. 

DAY 13: Cappadocia - Ankara In the morning depart for Ankara, is capital city of Turkey and drive along the Lake Salt. In Ankara there are visits to Anatolian Civilizations Museum and Mausoleum of Ataturk who is founder of Turkish Republic and the First President of Modern Turkey. Overnight in Ankara. 

DAY 14: Ankara - Istanbul After breakfast drive to Istanbul and arrive at the hotel in Istanbul at noon. Then you have free time for shopping. Overnigh in Istanbul.

DAY 15: Istanbul  Transfer to Istanbul airport for your return flight.

DAY 6 : Pamukkale - Bursa After breakfast early departure for Bursa which is the first capital of Ottoman Empire. Visit to Great Mosque, Green Tomb and Koza Han (traditional silk market) overnight in Bursa.

DAY 7 : Bursa - Istanbul In the morning leave Bursa for Istanbul, cross the Sea of Marmara by ferry boat. Then arrive in Istanbul and free afternoon for shopping or opional visits. 

DAY 8 : Istanbul - Transfer to Istanbul airport for your return flight.
