Day 1 -Arrival in Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at Istanbul airport our transfer man will be ready to meet and transfer you to your hotel. Time at leisure, stay overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 - Byzantine & Ottoman Relics Tour
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Old City. In this day you will be able to see:
HAGIA SOPHIA Byzantium largest cathedral, converted to mosque 1453 by the Ottoman Empire and today open as a museum to see both religion remains.
BLUE MOSQUE This mosque complex, containing Istanbul''s only mosque with six minarets was built by Sedefkar Mehmet Aga for Sultan Ahmed 1st. early 17th century.
HIPPODROME Center of sport activities and political events of the Eastern Roman Empire.
GRAND BAZAAR Famous shopping center worldwide. Shopping possibilities for carpet, jewellery, leather etc.
TOPKAPI PALACE Built between 1475 and 1478 by Mehmet II, Fatih, the conqueror of Istanbul, served as the residence of the sultan and administrative seat of the Ottoman Empire for 400 years.
SULEYMANIYE MOSQUE Built by famous architect Sinan at 1557 for Sultan Suleyman, known as Suleyman The Magnificent. His Tomb is located in the courtyard.
17:00 After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. (B,L)
Day 3 - Gallipoli Tour
06:30 Departure early in the morning from Istanbul. We drive to, where you will get information about the naval battle that took place in the Dardanelles prior to the army landings. Later on, we continue to the Kabatepe War Museum, which contains relics from the battle including original diary extracts and letters. Lunch at Eceabat. We then visit Brighton Beach, the intended landing place and the Anzac Cove where dawn service is held on each Anzac Day. Also you will visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston''s Jolly and Chunk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After visiting the Kilitbahir fortress, which was built in 1453 by Mehmet II, the Conqueror (to honor his successful siege of Constantinople).At the end of the day, we will cross the Dardanelles. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel at around 18:00.Overnight in Canakkale.(B,L)
Day 4 - Troy Tour
After breakfast, we drive to the ruins of Troy. Our guide will reveal stories of the famed battle between Achilles and Hector, and reveal the fable behind the Trojan horse. After our morning Troy tour, we drive back to Canakkale where you will board a local bus to Selcuk/Kusadasi.(B)
Day 5 - Ephesus & The House of Virgin Mary
09:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Ephesus & The House of Virgin Mary. First you will visit The Temple of Artemis, which once was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Then you will visit the world famous ancient Greco-Roman City of Ephesus, the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a lunch break. After lunch, you will visit The House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed she spent her last days. This is a holy place for both Christians and Muslims.End of the tour transfer to hotel and overnight in Kusadasi.(B,LD))
Day 6 - Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Pamukkale & Hierapolis. In Pamukkale, you will see the Cotton Cliffs, one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. Also visit the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis with its basilica , theatre and Roman Baths. After tour bus to Antalya with non smoking, fully air-conditioned bus (duration 4 hours). Day 7 - Antalya Tour
08:15 pick up from your hotel to visit Perge antique site in detail; Stadium, Roman Gate, Nymphaeum, Roman Bath, Hellenistic gate, Colonnaded Main Street and the Agora. Lunch on the Köprüpazari stream near the Aspendos Theater after lunch visit Aspendos Theater and the Historical Aqueducts. Shopping Break where also the Turkish handcrafts are introduced,Introduction of Side and an hour and a half free time. Drop off to hotel.Overnight in Antalya. (B,L)
Day 8 - Free Day in Antalya / Flight to Istanbul
Breakfast & check out the hotel.you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Istanbul. Arrive at Istanbul airport & transfer to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.(B)
Day 9 - Departure from Istanbul
